We are proud to announce the return of our kaiseki dinners, coming on Saturday, June 04, 2022. Known as 'kaiseki' - a traditional fine-dining, multi-course meal which focuses on simplicity and seasonality to best showcase the natural flavours of the produce. Chefs use local ingredients which represent the seasons, presented in a way that is beautiful but purposeful; where each course uses a different cooking technique (ex. soup, appetizer, grilled course, steamed course, among many others). Koji Kobayashi has spent a decade long perfecting this craft in Osaka and will bring a taste of Japan's summer here to Calgary’s own Sukiyaki House.

We are proud to announce the return of our Omakase nights, returning Thursday, December 02, 2021. Omakase is a Japanese dining experience in which guests leave themselves at the hand of the chef and receive a meal that is seasonal, elegant, artistic, and uses the finest ingredients available. Koji Kobayashi will be incorporating seasonality through his extensive kaiseki knowledge in his small appetizers, but also allow for guests to marvel at the beautiful simplicity of fish.
